OASIS ACADEMY STUDENTS AT HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL DAY EVENT
Every year in the U.K. we have Holocaust Memorial Day on January 27, to commemorate all the victims of the Holocaust and other genocides (such as Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia, and Darfur). Southampton held its own 2010 memorial event on January 30 at the James Matthews Building in the city centre, and once again Oasis Academy Lordshill was involved, the only school in the city to be so.
