Norton James – DT Teacher
I am sorry to have to pass on the sad news that Norton James died Sunday, 28th February at 11.00 am. Norton had been very ill for some time.
Norton was quiet, generous and endlessly optimistic. Only recently a colleague had spoken to Norton and he was talking of coming back to work.
I never once heard him complain during his recent illness and at times it was hard to get him to take time off. He was deeply committed to the students; when I last spoke to Norton he was devastated that he could not help the Year 11 students with their coursework.
Norton's untimely death is a huge tragedy to his family and friends and I know that many of you will miss him greatly.
