The vision of the Academy is to create both an outstanding school and a community hub. Oasis believes that it has a duty to respect the environment through a commitment to sustainability and bio-diversity. Resources entrusted to the Oasis Academy will be used with integrity and responsibility. Oasis Academy Lord's Hill will be involved in projects engaging with the local community. If you are interested in linking a project with the school please contact the Academy Holistic Development Student participation within school councils, peer leadership programmes and voluntary activities enhances the quality of provision within the Academy community. Furthermore, extended schooling is facilitated alongside provision of wider support services for the students and the extended community. We recognise that ranges of factors, internal and external to school, are vital in the development and achievement of each student. The Academy aims to ensure that the curriculum and its delivery cater for the widest range of needs possible, encouraging constant development. The Academy creates an environment where young people ‘want’ to learn rather than ‘have’ to learn. The Academy runs an extensive Community Programme, for further details please check our Community Programme page. |
