At Oasis Academy Lord’s Hill, we believe in a broad and balanced curriculum tailored to the needs of students.

The Academy operates a one-week timetable cycle, with five sixty minute lessons each day. To support effective teaching, students are set in English, Mathematics and Science based on the prior and current attainment. On a Tuesday afternoon, all students in the Academy follow a Citizenship and Personal Social and Health Education (PSHE) course with their tutor.

Year 7 and 8:

In Year 7 and Year 8, students study a broad curriculum. Alongside developing a deep understanding of English, Mathematics and Science, students are taught an exciting range of other subjects.

These are:
Geography, History, a Language, PE, Religious Education, Art, Dance, Drama, Music, and Technology (including Design & Technology, Graphics, Food & Textiles).

Year 9:

In Year 9, students begin to choose aspects of their curriculum.  All students continue to study English, Mathematics, Science, Geography, History, a Language and PE.  In addition, students start to specialise by choosing two ‘elective’ choices.

The type of subjects offered are:
Art, Dance, Design & Technology, Drama, Food (Hospitality), Graphics, Music and Sport.
