Following our Ofsted inspection in February 2020, the academy has been judged to be ‘Good’ in leadership and management, and, personal development.
When Ofsted inspected the academy, they found:

Pupils know that their teachers want them to do well.

Pupils appreciate the wide range of opportunities on offer. These develop their talents and interests.

Pupils study the full range of subjects in key stage 3, at key stage 4 the English Baccalaureate subjects are at the heart of the curriculum.

Pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities have access to the full curriculum, with some pupils receiving extra support with their literacy and reading.
