Vision & Values

Welcome to Oasis Academy Lord’s Hill. These are tremendously exciting times for the Academy and we are delighted to be working in partnership with our students, their families and the wider community to release their enormous potential.

 Our values.

  • A passion to include everyone
  • A desire to treat everyone equally
  • A commitment to healthy open relationships
  • A deep sense of hope, that things can change and be transformed
  • A sense of perseverance to keep going for the long haul

We want to be an outstanding school, not for the badge or to lord it over others. No, we want to be outstanding because this community deserves it.

The artwork above was designed and produced for the walls of the Academy by Richard Long. Richard is an illustrator and works here at the Academy in the Art department.

The Rights Respecting Schools Award (RRSA)

The Rights Respecting Schools Award (RRSA) recognises achievement in putting the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) at the heart of a school’s planning, policies, practice and ethos. A rights-respecting school not only teaches about children’s rights but also models rights and respect in all its relationships: between teachers / adults and pupils, between adults and between pupils.
