We use a cashless system linked to MyChildAtSchool (MCAS). Students who are entitled to a free school meal will have their accounts automatically credited with money. MCAS is an excellent tool that allows you to see what your child has eaten during the day and to top up their account if they need extra money.

Our transition team work closely with our primary schools to gather as much information as possible prior to your child starting in September to ensure we are able to meet your child’s needs. We have a fantastic inclusion team who will be in contact if your child has been identified as having additional needs. Telephone the school on 023 8039 3660 (Option 1) before 8:30 giving a reason for absence. Alternatively, you can email attendance@oasislordshill.org

If this happens, our first aiders will contact you as soon as possible to discuss the problem. Due to this, it is vital we have the correct emergency contact details and that you inform the school if any of these details change.

Talk to your child, and if you are worried, please contact the school. We take this issue very seriously and will be happy to discuss your concerns; an appointment can be made to see a member of staff if required.

Progress is carefully monitored, and assessments are made throughout the year. At set intervals during the academic year, progress will be reported to parents in National Curriculum Levels. You will also be invited to Parents' Evenings during the year to discuss your child’s progress.

The Academy realises that many parents want their children to have a mobile phone for safety reasons. Students are allowed to bring their phones to the Academy site, but they must not be seen or heard. If a student is using a phone, it will be confiscated by the teacher or a member of staff and returned at the end of the day. The Academy cannot take responsibility for devices that are lost or damaged by other students.
