PSHE
We have a dedicated one hour session each week built into the curriculum that seeks to ensure that all students have access to a knowledge rich scheme of work to develop strength of character. This curriculum includes key opportunities to model and showcase the Oasis 9 Habits, think hard about specific societal events (current and past), and understand that there is a world beyond our school and location; building life knowledge that underpins a wider identity. The sessions are delivered by teachers and outside speakers, so that students may flourish to the best of their ability and are shown the benefits of a well-informed future. All curriculum content, regardless of subject, should teach the skills needed to succeed and flourish in our society today.
Since September 2021, schools follow a new relationships and sex education and health education curriculum.
