Oasis Academy Lord’s Hill is delighted to welcome ZoieLogic Dance Theatre back to the academy this term as the first day of this year’s ManMade all-boys dance workshop gets underway.
The three-day creative programme, taking place between January and March, will see members of the ZoieLogic team working closely with students to create and develop an original dance piece. The project will culminate in a live performance at Mayflower Studios in March, offering students the opportunity to showcase their work on a professional stage.
ManMade is an innovative, all-male youth dance platform that brings together young people from different schools. The programme aims to challenge perceptions, build confidence, and push creative boundaries around boys’ dance, encouraging participants to explore movement, storytelling, and collaboration.
Staff and students are particularly proud to welcome back former Oasis Academy Lord’s Hill student Ollie Webb, who now works as a full-time Creative Producer at ZoieLogic Dance Theatre. Ollie’s return highlights the lasting impact of arts education and provides current students with an inspiring example of progression within the creative industries.
The opening session has already seen strong engagement and enthusiasm from students, with the academy looking forward to watching the piece evolve over the coming weeks.
